Abu Dhabi National Oil Company: Some Background Information.
It was in 1937 when the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan led a trip to the south-west of Abu Dhabi with a group of 16 tribesmen. This mission laid the groundwork for what would become ADNOC. Soon after the geological study that was carried out in 1935, he began to fantasies about properly harnessing petroleum resources, which would directly catalyze the expansion of the UAE’s economy.

Since the day it was founded, the company has been making significant contributions that are beneficial to the expansion and development of the UAE as a nation up until the present day.
